Weathered by time, polished by ice, and sculpted by waves, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is considered one of the premier sea-kayaking destinations of the upper Great Lakes region.
And in few places is the Lakeshore more intricately carved than the Devils Island sea caves. Located on the north shore of the island, the caves are fully exposed to the fury of the open waters of Lake Superior, and are often inaccessible due to dangerous waves.
